What is the LAC Fund?

LAC (Legislative Action Committee) is a non-profit funding that is collected from NYATA and NYCCAT members in order to provide compensation for our lobbyists. The lobbyists in turn stand as our governmental representatives in order to further advance our status in the Art Therapy Field on a political venue.  The lobbyists assist with passing bills and different legislative acts with the goal in mind to increase Art Therapy credentialing and enhancing employment opportunities and professional rights.
